Property Tax and Compensation Fund Appraisal
Our company has been elected to provide appraisal services on behalf of the State of Israel (Property Tax and Compensation Fund) in cases of terror and war damages, evaluation of the property of citizens that was damaged due to rocket strikes, blast damages, terror damages and more.
Maintaining such damages in the course of the Property Tax and Compensation Fund Law requires a specific, professional and sensitive expertise. Property Tax and Compensation Fun Law, 5721-1961 – was approved by the 4th Knesset in March 28th, 1961, binding two property matters:
Imposing property tax and compensating citizens for property damages caused due to war and drought damages.
According to the law, citizens will be paid compensations for damages to their property and for consequential damages following three cases:
War/terror damage:
Any physical damage to any structure or property, caused as a result of war activities lead by enemies’ active armies or due to other acts of hostility against Israel or due to defense or offense acts by the IDF.
Consequential Damage: loss of profit or consequential loss
Loss of or damage to profit as a result of damages of war or due to the incapability of making proper use of properties due to acts of war conducted by the enemies’ active armies or due to any other acts of hostility against Israel or due to defense or offense acts by the IDF.
Drought Damage:
Damage to crops, vegetation damaged by deficit or unseasonal rainfall.
